Winter Beauty.

So the hot topic these past few weeks has been the weather. Hate to say it folks but is it not Winter? Don't get me wrong, I too long for those summer days on the lake, infamous Lemonade chillers from the Sonic, and the polka dot bikini's the world has come to love. But there is some beauty in the frigid temperatures of Winter. One word comes to mind, Snow. Don't you remember as a kid, longing for the white precipitation to come on Christmas day? I'll be the first to admit that I still hope for snow anytime the temperature drops below freezing. Yes I am well aware that this type of weather comes with its' disadvantages as well, icy roads, school closings, frostbite, etc. Personally though, when I see the first true snow of the year, I overlook the negative aspects that may come with it, and realize that this is another one of God's many beautiful creations. This is evident in the picture taken just outside of my house. Just by simply stepping outside my door I realized another aspect of life that I so commonly overlook.

"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." -Colossians 1:16
